Can everyone keep in touch with each other due to the issues with the club email account it would appear because of changes with gmail filters we have been identified as scammers and the majority of emails are being returned. We can still receive emails though and reply to individuals. Anyone who has any knowledge of how to resolve this please can you reply and Rachel Thomas will contact you to assist.
Also a cheeky little reminder that memberships are due on the 1st October and will be subject of another email. Unfortunately due to a rise in Pool charges at Bishop Gore and WNPS along with the damage sustained to the hut we have had to increase the annual fees. Fees have not been increase for many a year now and we have kept these to a minimum.
Many thanks Jayne Evs
CANCELLED SORRY!
We will access to the field and if it is a sunny evening so we can utilise it for 'games'......And there will also be a quiz.
If you are able to, could you please bring along a salad/rice dish or cakes, as we had a great response last time with plenty of food for everyone.
If you could let Mike Davies or Brian Godwin know what you are able to bring it would be appreciated.
Regards

Well done to everyone who achieved their awards at Nipper Camp. A great weekend was had by all.
However, several club members were unable to attend and we do need them to attain the minimum competence for their age group in the water, in addition to ongoing Beach Safety, First Aid and Life Support.
If you are new to the club ( and were unable to attend Nipper Camp), you will not have your competency and existing members may find that their competencies have expired or need updating.
We would like to get these done asap, providing there is adequate cover on the beach.
These competencies are important to your development as a Life Saver and are mandatory if you would like to compete in The Welsh Open Water Championships.
Best Wishes
